Does using TaskuTalkkari cost anything?
The basic use of TaskuTalkkari is free and ad-free, and it works without a user account and without an internet connection. PilviTalkkari is an optional cloud add-on (sync, backups, sharing, cloud files, the browser version and a larger AI quota). PilviTalkkari is free during the beta; the planned price is €1.49/month or €9.99/year.

A shared home only syncs if its owner has PilviTalkkari. Accepting an invitation requires a verified email address. Cloud storage is 20 GB per home owner (50 MB per file at most).
What is the difference between a free account and PilviTalkkari?
With a free account you get the AI features (receipt scanning and upkeep history import, 10/month) and can join a shared home when invited. PilviTalkkari adds cloud sync and backups, the ability to share your own homes with others, cloud files (20 GB), a vault for important documents, a trash for restoring deleted items (30 days), an automatic annual report by email, the browser version, and raises the AI quota to 100 a month.
What does PilviTalkkari cost?
PilviTalkkari is free during the beta. The planned price is €1.49/month or €9.99/year; the final pricing will be confirmed when the beta ends.
Do I need a user account?
Not for the basic features — TaskuTalkkari works entirely without an account and your data stays on your device. An account is only needed for the AI features and for joining a shared home. PilviTalkkari (the cloud, sync, sharing, the browser version) requires an account.
Offline and data
Does TaskuTalkkari work without an internet connection?
Yes. TaskuTalkkari is offline-first: every basic feature works without a network connection, and your data is stored on your device. Cloud sync is a separate, optional PilviTalkkari feature.
Where is my data kept?
By default, only on your own device. If you turn on PilviTalkkari, your data is backed up and synced to a cloud based in the EU. Read more in the privacy policy.
How do backups and sync work?
PilviTalkkari backs up your home's data to a cloud based in the EU and keeps it current across several devices. The app works locally on the device first, and nothing is uploaded to the cloud before the feature is turned on. On a new phone your data is restored by logging in with the same account. Sharing homes
Can I share the home with family members?
Yes. With PilviTalkkari you can invite others to share the home's information and tasks. The person invited can join the shared home with a free account.
Does every user have to pay?
No. Sync for a shared home works once the home's owner has PilviTalkkari — the other members can use it with a free account.
AI
What do the AI features do?
AI speeds up record-keeping: it scans receipts and lifts upkeep history from a photo or document automatically into the fields.
Is the AI free?
AI already works with a free account (10/month). PilviTalkkari raises the quota to 100 a month.

Is there an iOS version of TaskuTalkkari?
Yes. TaskuTalkkari is now available for iPhone from the App Store and for Android from Google Play.
Is there a browser version?
The browser version is now available as part of PilviTalkkari — the same data is also available on a computer. Log in at app.taskutalkkari.fi.
General
Does TaskuTalkkari suit a holiday home or several homes?
Yes. You can manage several homes in the same app (for example a house and a holiday home). See also Mökin huoltokirja (in Finnish).
Does the app carry advertising?
No. TaskuTalkkari is ad-free.
